Indian Tiger Stripes green coffee beans are blended by Allana in India to a simple, but classic, recipe. Roasted by us at Coffee Roasters Scotland to create a rich sweet, espresso with striped crema.

Through our trusted importer, DR Wakefield, we have been lucky enough to have found a flexible, high-quality and consistent producer, with enough volume and experience to give us very high-standards and great consistency, year on year.

It was a collaboration between DR Wakefield and Allana that caused Indian Tiger Stripes coffee to be invented around 2007. The reason for the name Tiger Stripe is because of the thick banded crema produced when the coffee is extracted on an espresso machine. During the cupping, the comment was jokingly made that the crema resembled the stripes of a tiger, and the name stuck. We sell over five tonnes of this excellent quality, beautifully flavoured coffee each year and have many, many satisfied repeat customers.
